Joe McCarthy, Sr. leads the McCarthy Ranch team as the company CEO. He is primarily responsible for the strategic direction of the firm's real estate portfolio and operations. During his free time, he enjoys playing golf, boating on Lake Tahoe, working in his yard, and travelling.
Joey McCarthy, Jr. | COO
Joey McCarthy, Jr. joined McCarthy Ranch in 2003. As COO, he has day-to-day responsibility for the company’s commercial and residential real estate activities. He oversees the real estate team in deal sourcing, development, marketing, construction, financing, and asset management. Joey enjoys exercising and playing sports in his free time. Depending on the time of year, you can find him on the golf course, basketball court, ski slopes, or tennis court.
Joe Goggiano | Director of Development
Joe Goggiano joined McCarthy Ranch in 2017. As Senior Development Manager, he is involved in all aspects of the firm’s real estate investment and development activity including deal sourcing, due-diligence, design development, underwriting, financing, construction and asset management. In his free time, Joe enjoys watching all things Bay Area sports, traveling, playing golf and skiing.
Elaine Bedell | Office Manager
Elaine Bedell joined McCarthy Ranch in 2008. She is responsible for overseeing the management and operation of both the company’s real estate portfolio as well as the office. Her responsibilities include establishing management and operating policies, practices and standards, managing company resources to complete capital transactions, and ensuring tenant satisfaction and asset performance. During her free time, she enjoys cycling, playing bocce, and spending time in the mountains.
Lydia Gonzalez | Property Manager
Lydia Gonzalez joined McCarthy Ranch in 2021. As the Property Manager, she is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the McCarthy Ranch real estate portfolio. Her responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service to tenants, working closely with her vendors and maintenance team to ensure properties are maintained to company standards, and assisting accounting with budget preparations and financial reporting. She also assists with leasing, contract management, and construction oversight. Currently, Lydia is studying to complete her RPA designation with BOMI. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, boating, traveling, sports, and exploring the outdoors.
Araceli M Gutierrez | Admin Assistant
Araceli Gutierrez joined the team in the summer of 2015. As administrative assistant, she assists the property and asset management teams in maximizing tenant satisfaction and asset value. During her free time, she enjoys photography, attending live music concerts, and advocating for social justice causes such as equal access to higher education and awareness of youth homelessness in Santa Clara County.
Nick Lamson | Development Manager
Nick Lamson joined McCarthy Ranch in 2022. As Development Manager, he is involved in multiple aspects of the firm’s real estate investment and development activities including deal sourcing, due diligence, underwriting, financing, project management, and asset management. In his free time, Nick enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and spending time with his friends and family.
